AGC extends guarantee for fire-resistant glass
AGC Glas Europe now offers a ten-year guarantee on its Pyrobel and Pyrobelite fire-resistant glass products. With transparent, foam-forming interlayers, the glazing protects against fire for between 15 and 180 minutes. The products are available in different fire protection levels: room closure (E), room closure and limitation of radiation penetration (EW), room closure and insulation (EI).
The extended guarantee for Pyrobel and Pyrobelite applies to every application in single and insulating glazing with a four-sided frame; optical defects such as haze and cavities are also covered. The ten-year guarantee applies to glazing with an invoice date from 01/09/2020. If AGC accepts a complaint, the glazing will be supplied and replaced free of charge.
Requirements and instructions for the storage, handling and installation of Pyrobel can be found at www.agc-pyrobel.com.
