Unique glazing for iconic architecture
Despite the variety of our standard products, are you looking for a unique look for your building or do you want to fine-tune the performance of the façade? AGC Interpane has developed “Coating on Demand”, a service that allows you to create a unique coating independently of our series production.
Spend a day with us in our laboratory and together we will design your individual glazing product. Using AGC’s virtual prototyping software, we create a project simulation and produce physical samples of your product on the same day.

Probably the most characteristic features of solar control glazing for sophisticated commercial buildings are low total energy transmittance, excellent thermal insulation and the highest possible light transmission. In addition, there are high design requirements in terms of color and reflection as well as the smallest possible CO2 footprint.

Solar control glass with pyrolytic coating
Fabricators need glazing that can be flexibly designed and used in a variety of ways. Stopsol has a hard coating – a metal oxide layer applied using the pyrolysis process, which enables toughening and bending, for example. This means that Stopsol can be used as single, insulating and laminated glass as well as toughened glass. It can be laminated, thermally toughened, bent, enameled and screen-printed. It does not require edge deletion and can be stored indefinitely.
Particularly interesting in densely built-up inner cities: the highly reflective surface offers a high level of solar control as well as an increased degree of privacy.

Sun protection and improved thermal insulation
Stopray solar control glazing is also available in thermally toughenable versions for maximum design freedom. Whether toughened or not, as highly selective double or triple glazing in some cases, they allow a particularly large amount of visible daylight into the room and at the same time reduce air conditioning costs with effective solar control. On cold days, the high level of thermal insulation prevents rooms from cooling down.

With ipasol, architects and planners can realize their buildings within the framework of sustainable energy concepts without having to compromise on transparency, impressive appearance and high sustainability. It allows an above-average amount of natural light into the interior, while at the same time offering exceptionally low solar energy transmittance (g-value).
These highly selective solar control coatings reach the limits of what is physically possible in terms of their performance. ipasol solar control coatings are applied to both continuous and fixed dimensions.
