Stopray Vision-70: Highly selective, neutral, low reflection
With a selectivity of 2.0, the new Stopray Vision-70 solar control glass products and the toughenable version Stopray Vision-70T outperform all conventional double-silver products.
The glazing is particularly color-neutral (Ra,D = 97), allows maximum daylight into the room (TL = 70 percent) and, with a g-value of just 35 percent, reduces the climate load behind glass facades. The light reflection to the inside is 15 percent, while 14 percent of the light is reflected to the outside. The low Ug-value of 1.0 W(m2K) protects rooms from cooling down on cold days, reduces heating requirements and thus protects the environment. The stated values apply to double glazing, but the product is also available as triple insulating glass. All existing basic glass products from the ipasol and Stopray family have been awarded the “Cradle to Cradle” sustainability certificate in silver.
Cradle to Cradle” assesses the sustainability of a product over its entire life cycle. For certification, the product must meet strict requirements in five categories relating to health and environmental protection: Material health, recyclability, renewable energy, water consumption and social responsibility. The AGC Group is the only glass manufacturer to be Cradle to Cradle certified for its large portfolio of glass products, offering the world’s most comprehensive portfolio of glass products certified at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. The overall rating for Stopray, ipasol and iplus basic glass products achieved the silver certificate. In the sub-categories “Renewable Energy” and “Water Consumption”, the products were awarded Silver and in terms of “Material Health”, “Circularity” and “Social Responsibility” even Gold.
